Saddest Episode

My wife and I agree on this one. "Wally", from Season 3, with Dick Van Dyke playing the homeless puppeteer.

What a sad episode ! He gives such a moving performance, as all of the people around him die, and then eventually, he dies, himself.

The ending to "To Bind The Wounds" made me very weepy. It's so beautiful and epic with a really emotional and bittersweet feeling, with a good build up beforehand.

"For The Love of Larry" actually I knew the ending because people spoiled it here on the boards, but I decided to watch it to see how it all unfolded and it was definitely a bittersweet tearjerker.

"To Touch The Moon" made me teary-eyed too. The whole story was just sad and really touching especially the intentions of the dying boy. The ending was quite beautiful too.

"Amazing Man" I felt was a really sad episode too. That little kid was seemed so sad, he was suppressing his feelings through the fantasy of the action figure he was playing with. For some reason, what Jonathan did for him at the end (as a silly as it looked) was so touching, it made me teary-eyed.

"A Dolphin Song For Lee" was really depressing. Basically a girl with cancer who wants to help save the dolphins before she dies. The scene where she rides with the dolphin in the pool and where Jonathan and Mark are talking about death outside of the family's house was so emotional. The ending is really sad but has a small amount of bittersweet-ness that Micheal Landon is known for in his directing/writing.

Geez, I only started watching this a few weeks ago and have probably cried on three episodes. The one where the alcoholic lawyer was trying to save his homeless friend was sad, even more so with the unexpected ending.

I'm watching part 1 of "We Have Forever" and I'm already crying only ten minutes into the show!

The theme music alone is very sad. Listening to it now almost brings me to tears because it reminds me of Michael Landon who passed away from cancer.
