Im sick of people bitching the jeans.......

Okay, so it was wrong for how mark singer and those guys dressed in the 80's and NOW its called camp or gay... I think not, the hair and jeans they do now is gay looking. This generation is more gay then any generation ever. Them jeans and jackets mark singer had where just great, action hero clothes. Stallone had them, all the greats had cool looking clothes. The jeans people wear now are very gay. hanging down to their ass, baggy, lifeless. Because they have skinny little legs. Thats not style.

So in order to like stylish how they used to, you will be considered gay. Hmmmm thats not right coming from a big GAY generation.

Note to reader im not homophobic, i use that word as people put that about tight jeans, and clothes from the 80's, and that is pretty darn annoying.

I don't agree with you about one generation being 'gayer' than another, but indeed, during the '80s, especially '80-'83, jeans were tight--that was the style for men and women. That was the time of designer jeans (Jordache, Sassoon, and Sergio Valente), which were meant to be skin tight--sexual preferences were not the reason. That look was considered sexy at the time. Some of the cheesiest commercials ever were for designer jeans. In the mid-'60s, high-watered suits were in--look at the Beatles. During the late-'60s through the '70s, bell bottoms were in. I'm no fashionisto or anything, but those styles (bell bottoms and designer jeans) were part of my childhood years. Any Generation X person remembers this stuff along with Atari 2600s, Donkey Kong, and MTV--when it actually had music. People have to remember when V was on the air. A series set in the '80s during the '80s was going to have contemporary clothing, thus tight jeans. If V was set during the '70s, you would have seen a lot of plaid and bell bottoms.

What are you talking about? Do you live in a cave? Baggy jeans have been very out of style this entire decade, skinny & slim have been back in & all over the place, therefore Donovan's jeans fit right in again nowadays

This post is 5 years old, sure but what i said for sure still applied then, bagginess was still long gone in 2013...and on top of everything else MANY 80's fashion items have came back in...I for one have been thrilled about this, so I just don't get it, you must be in some alternate dimension lol
