The editing at the end... just way too quick. It goes from him being down and basically out, to suddenly winning and the credits rolling in like 1 minute. Don't know what they were thinking with that.

No. It was planned but never actually filmed. The actors (Martin Kove, William Zabka etc) who played Kreese and the Kai students returned to specifically shoot that scene for part two.

shareYeah I've always said we should have gotten the Miyagi vs Kreese scene that opened Part 2. Let's say upon release the movie flopped so no sequels, but over time became a cult classic, we'd be talking about if Miyagi could have defeated Kreese lol.
