Does any one agree?
This movie is wonderful and it is a shame that it doesnt get recognized more often. But another shame is that Judy Davis doesn't do more work. Does anyone else agree?
shareJudy Davis personally cultivated a terrible reputation within the film industry because of her appalling behaviour during the filming of “A Passage To India” and especially her verbal abuse of David Lean. “You can’t *beep* Direct!” etc
She swore and cussed at David Lean in front of the whole Crew and Cast. Not just once but regularly until the final weeks of shooting. It got around the industry very quickly that she was a “pain in the arse” and of course directors steered clear of her.
This has happened to others most notably Sharon Stone who with a bit of humility could have become greater than she did.
