What's your favorite episode

Mine would have to be "Serenity".

I also like "Twice Stung" for one reason, this quote...

Joanna Remmings: Oh, I've heard about you. You're the guy that does the whatchamacallits, you know: MacGyverisms.
MacGyver: MacGyverisms?

Pain is merely the weakness leaving the body!

The pilot had me hooked when he sealed a chemical leak with chocolate.
Also "Trumbo's World" where he's up against army ants.
The pregnant woman episode was good too.

The Pilot and any of the quest stories, e.g. Legend of the Holy Rose, Eye of Osiris. Dr Zito was a great character, too.

I like a lot of the season 4 ones.

Blood Brothers
On a wing and a prayer
I cant remember the name, but the one with the electromagnectic pulse generator was a good one.
Also the one with Macgyver land it it was good.

Easy Target was the EMP story.
The other one sounds like Hallowe'en Knights.

Thanks.

The episode with MacGyverland is "The Survivors" from season 4.

I'm not sure about my favorite one, but the episodes I remembered most from childhood were the ones featuring Murdoc and the ones involving ancient artifacts, mostly because of the riddles that needed to be solved at the end (for example, "Eye of Osiris").

"Cleo Rocks" is my all time favorite, with the sexy Michael Des Barres, who is a hot mess here. Let's not forget his wonderful villainous laugh. Also, he knows how to put interesting rhythm and punctuation into his lines - these lines have been said by a million bad guys, but his delivery is original. The background music is marvelously creepy, too, especially in the "fiery basement" scene. It's cheesy, but Des Barres is so good!

The best scene of all is when Murdoc removes his Jacques makeup. Creepy music plays in the background. The look on Penny's face and her scream of horror is priceless.

I love Murdoc vs Pete; they're so opposite. Pete is so turgid and Murdoc so flamboyant.

And lovely Ricky Dean - this was before his mullet got completely out of control - who can barely hide his infatuation with his girlfriend (at the time), Teri Hatcher. They made a gorgeous pair; I wonder what happened to them, except maybe she was too young (she was in her 20s and he was about 40).

The four main actors all had great chemistry.

Michael Des Barres said in an interview once that Teri Hatcher's Cleopatra costume got caught in his electric wheelchair. That must have been amusing.

Overall, it's an interesting redo of Phantom of the Opera. And it features sparkling dialogue:

Pete: "Murdoc! But you're dead."

Murdoc (deadpan): "Would you care to join me?"

Easily Trumbo's World.

Yea, that stood out to me as a child. Was solid on the re-watch too.
