Did anyone else love John Lithgow's fantastic performance? It was so OTT! All the way to him ODing on Candy Canes and floating up INTO SPACE!

Why DIDN'T he die of lack of oxygen and freezing at high altitude?

And that he so polar opposite to Huddleston's beloved Santa with his subdued grace--like when he reflects on how Christmas is changing since Patch went to work with BZ--that it is all the while more significant.
