Why does he always have that match in his mouth?

And only uses it once against the villains but otherwise has it constantly stuck between his teeth and keeping a match in his mouth even in many confrontational action scenes? What if he were to choke or swallow it?

reply

It's supposed to look badass I suppose. Well at least in the 80's it did...😂

reply

And how exactly does a match and or toothpick in the mouth make one look badass during the 80s?

Eddie Izzard explains all in the first 2 mins of this 6 min video

I dont know. Go ask your stupid professor...😂

He'd be very upset with me if I told him I watched a movie that screamed white privilege and no racial diversity

reply

Tell him for me that hes a big wimpy wuss.....you.can show him this post.

mexican co star and white bad guys?
this movie is woke AF!

reply

Yea but what about the higher ups within the police dept? It was all white men? Would have been nice to see some of Cobra's superiors to be either a person of color or a female

reply

In case he has to set some baddie on fire.

reply

Could be he's a former smoker. That's an old trick to deceive the reflexes. It's the reason that Telly Savalas always had a lollipop in his mouth when they filmed Kojak.

reply

Yes, maybe if they ever make a Cobra prequel, he will be an avid smoker

reply

He has an oral fixation.
He cannot always have a stiff cock in his mouth, so he holds its place with the match.

reply

Because he strikes fast — like a match.

reply

plain, old-fashioned stick matches. never know when you might need them.
