Lt. Lockhart

He’s probably my favorite character. I like his laid back and cynically humorous approach to his job and the war.

He probably knew the war was un winnable but tried to be a professional going about his job.

I liked his smooth and chill demeanor, even when dealing with Joker’s constant smart aleck/sarcastic comments.

I get the feeling that after the war he became head of PR for a film studio in California or a Mayor’s personal adviser or press secretary. I could see him living an upper middle class life in Santa Monica or Torrance CA.

I agree. He seemed to really know his job. Good performance by the actor.

Knew his job…could handle Joker’s wise cracking personality and then some. And he had a presence of calm and competence….despite the pressure of the war not going so well, especially in his arena; PR and Propaganda.

He’s a man who appreciates the finer things in life, such as fur and early morning dew.

reply

Even the way he said it…it was polished and urbane.
