Tried watching it, only lasted an hour (probably really 40 minutes, with all the commercials) on AMC.

I saw this film in the cinema when it came out and enjoyed it. I tried to rewatch it for the first time five or so years ago and couldn't sit through it. Funny how tastes change.

You made it longer than I did! I had to abort after 25 minutes or so...couldn't take it any more. RW's manic attempts at humor always left me feeling completely exhausted and exasperated. Being loud and obnoxious does not = comedy. I could only ever stand him in serious roles.
