Because Clarence Boddicker put the DVD of what Dick Jones was saying to Bob Morton. Did they have DVDs back then?

RoboCop takes place in the 21st century, so yes it was a digital versatile/video disc of some sort.

Yes, I remember I watched my movies in DVD if there was no internet.
