Was Ron Miller a good guy who snapped?

On the surface Ron Miller seems like a nutcase who tried to stay in power by any means necessary. However, given the wide spread corruption throughout the city government, could it be possible that Ron Miller was a good man who was crushed by a city that did not value honor? He seemed distraught about losing his job and demanded a recount. Maybe he was clearly winning the election only to have it taken out from under him. We never did see Ron's side of the story, so maybe he just snapped after serving the city as honorably as possible.

Ron was an example of narcissism.

Win or lose, you have to take it honorably and he did not.

Meanwhile, Robocop was an honorable man who was a cop, got tortured to death by some narcissists, got turned into a programmed robot robbed of humanity, and he still managed to deal with it with honor.

That's what the movie was basically about.

Who's Ron Miller

reply

Ron was the city official who got screwed out his job with a questionable election. Robocop punched him out of a window. We never saw whether he survived the fall, or if his concerns turned out to be true.
