Anyhow I can see this being a direct parody of the SW Sequel Trilogy, so the OG cast returning in support roles, (even John Candy via CGI)

Unfunny, Politically Correct sequel to Spaceballs by people who never made anything good. No thanks.

Why?

It won't be a sequel. It will be a shot for shot remake disguised as a sequel, with all the latest political points shoved in.

Spaceballs is a stand alone film, and a product of the pre-CGI era when Hollywood actually made great films instead of mediocre ones. It should be left as it is.

The first one had the public's interest because Star Wars was the number one movie franchise at the time. No one cares about Star Wars anymore.
