What's the creepiest Unsolved Mysteries story you remember?

The one that always haunted me was the disappearance of Tara Calico. She went missing in 1988 when she was 19 and the episode talked about the disappearance of her, as well as a young boy. The story included a polaroid photo that was found in a convenience store parking lot of a girl resembling Calico and a young boy tied with their hands behind their backs and duct tape over their mouths. It was later concluded that the boy in the story wasn't the boy in the photo but it's been inconclusive on Calico and the case is still unsolved. I was 15 or 16 when this aired and the photo disturbed me then and still does today. Here's the Wikipedia story on Calico which includes the photo (WARNING, disturbing image).

The I70 Killer case is absolutely chilling. Still unsolved.

Not sure if it was on this show, but I recall an episode where a young Asian American woman was murdered. Then her best friend started seeing her ghost at night. The woman’s ghost named her killer and told her he had her jewelry and where in his house to find it.

The spontaneous combustion episode had me scared to death as a kid that I'd suddenly start smoking and burst into flames.

On October 1, 2019, the FBI announced that they are "offering a reward of up to $20,000 for precise details leading to the identification or location of Tara Leigh Calico and information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for her disappearance."[18]

In September 2021, the Valencia County Sheriff's Office and the New Mexico State Police issued a statement that they have a new lead in the case, and that the focus of a sealed warrant for an unknown private residence located within Valencia County has been issued; however, no further details were provided.[19]

There was one episode that scared me when I was a kid, but I only vaguely remember it. It was something about people seeing a ghostly disembodied horse head on a beach at night.

Is that for real? I´ve just been rewatching the Robert Stack episodes, I don´t believe I saw that one.

It is real. It's the one episode I remember because it scared me. But like I said my memory of it is vague, I just remember a floating ghostly horse head on a beach at night. Also some guy with a mustache talking about witnessing it.

There was a floating human head in a "haunted hotel", I don´t remember a horse head though.
