Foreign-exchange cop movies

This seems to me to be the best example of the "foreign-exchange cop" movie sub-genre of the "buddy cop" genre.

I can think of:

- Beverly Hills Cop (Detroit cop goes to Beverly Hills)
- Dead Heat (Dead cop solves crime in world of the living)
- 48 Hrs (criminal becomes fake cop with real cop)
- Blue Streak (criminal becomes fake cop with real cops)
- Demolition Man (old-school cop thawed out to solve crime in future)

What are some others? Surely there has to be some cop-from-the-future who solves a crime in our time, right? Terminator doesn't count. What was Time Cop about?

Hellooo?!! Does no one recall Black Rain? Michael Douglas as a gai-jin paired up with a Tokyo detective in pursuit of a yakuza gangster in Japan. Points for reversing the roles with the American as the foreigner.
