The Simpsons is dead

The show really has declined since the writers changed. The new episodes could never compare with the old but gold ones.
The only thing that is better is the picture quality but the plots have hit a dead end. Its like theyre not trying anymore

The Simpson died in 2001 when 90s really ended.

I still find a few good laughs in episodes here and there. Unfortunately some storylines are just terrible.

And the casts voices no longer sound young enough, especially Marge. The actress turns 70 this year, still voicing a 30 something woman.

I don´t even like the animation of the new Simpsons. The movements are really robotic. The older animations though less defined at least had more fluidity to them.

now viewing season 17 and still like the show but even I think its time for them to rest now.

They are paying too much for the voice "talent" to hire any decent writers. There's only so much money to spread around.

My dream like 20 years ago was to have The Simpsons weekly shows cancelled and just do a couple of one hour specials a year using top quality writers. That would have worked years ago but now the shows are now so cucked down that there's no point anymore.

It's been dead since 2001. Certain episodes were still good after that, but most were not up to the earlier 90's episodes.

The year 2000 called. It wants it's news back.

The Simpsons has been dead for decades. I do actually watch new episodes every now and then and I'm always surprised to see how bad the show can get.
