in your opinion which one is better? i think dream a little dream is better because there are lots of things i didn't catch the first time around that made the movie so much better than license to drive. the dialog was much better too, and feldman was the lead and that made me like it more also.

sharei've seena license to drive a few times but i've been waiting to see DALD for a while now. i know ill like DALD better than LTD. 1-feldman's the main character. it's simple. i like feldman wayy better than haim. 2- the soundtrack's great. 3-i live in the town, wilmington NC that it was filmed. my g-ma went to the highschool that shows the dance scene and my old middle school has that paw print you see in the dance scene, on the sidewalk in front of the middle school. it's pretty awesome.

I am a fan of both films. I have to say I like Dream A Little Dream better. It had a great soundtrack (I still have the CD) and it was just a good film from that era. I saw both films when they first came out in the theater. I was like 15 at the time LTD came out and I loved both, but DALD is my fav. I like both Corey's, they were extremely popular when I was a teenager and watching these films bring back good memories from days gone by. People can make fun of them all they want, but I will always love The Corey's! I'm just glad I have both films on DVD! Whenever I want to take a trip down memory lane, these two films are great to watch!
shareDream a Little Dream by far! The Soundtrack is great, Feldman's funny. Haim, Harry Dean Stanton, and Jason Robards have great supporting roles. Meredith Salenger is stunning! Great 80's movie. It's a shame the movie wasn't bigger when it was released.
The sequel should never be talked about though. What a piece of garbage that was. Terrible movie in comparison to the original.
I thought DALDs story was dull and unoriginal, even boring at times. However there was a lot of great dialogue and funny scenes throughout that keep me coming back. I like License more.

Loved the end of License, but the music in Dream is totally awesome. I listen to Dream more than watch it.

Dream a Little Dream tried to have a decent premise but it got mixed up once Corey Feldman insisted to play his character as if he was inhabited with the spirit of Michael Jackson rather than Jason Robards. Its a very unfocused and unbalanced film. Entertaining, but still there are a few head scratchers when you watch it.
