I've seen this multiple times before. It's a slog compared to previous films in the series. I tried watching it today and I turned it off before they even got on the cruise.
Dare I say, Jason Goes to hell is much more entertaining?

the boat scenes i can handle, but the rest just fell flat - and the goddam acid ending was BS

Jason on the floor, naked as the little boy that drowned. That was quite tasteless.. I mean the entire F13 series is about him being the victim and Part 8 almost turned it into a joke.

Yea I agree that many of these franchises have the potential to take on darker more interesting themes but take the turn for a joke but with Jason if we wouldve gone by the original storyline we wouldnt have never had a Jason.
