The acting makes me sick...

I own this on DVD just so I have the complete series, and I enjoy watching all the others, even #5-but this one just makes me want to gag. I'm all for horror/comedies, in fact they're my favorite kind of horror movies, and sometimes, the cheesier the effects = the better, but when the acting is so bad like it is in this one, it just takes me right out of the fun.

Granted, it probably wasn't ALL the actor's faults, it was the terrible script as well. Also, I will admit that the acting in the rest of the NOES franchise was nowhere near award-winning...but Lisa Zane has to be the most inexpressive, blank-looking actress I've ever seen.

The acting is bad. Thats a given. But I have to say, were reviewing all of the films on our youtube channel so ive been watching them back to back..... the movie and acting are terrible but I actually thought the acting was better than in the 4th and 5th. The movie is absolutely horrible as a horror film and succeeds more as a comedy than anything. Still not good though!

Lisa Zane wasn't that bad, I mean, she was bad, but not THAT bad. The one who played John Doe (Shon Greenblatt) was really THAT bad. His acting was god-awful. I was begging for Freddy to kill him !

Yaphet Koto did a really good job as Doc, but everyone else clearly just phoned it in.

.. I am, in a word, terse.

I thought the acting here was better than Nightmare 4 and that is my favourite one! I think Lisa did a good job with the script she was given.

It's one of those days...
