The problem with the high heels scenes

Blake Edwards wanted to show people what women who wear high heels have to go through. The problem is that not all women wear high heels. So why would a man put them on when he really didn't have to? And why would a man keep wearing them after realizing that they are very difficult to walk in? A man would have switched to flats in a second. The movie would have been better if there was a reason for the reincarnated man to wear high heels. It should have been part of the dress code where he worked.

Some dress codes in an office are written out. Others are just understood. If all the women in an office wear heels and a newcomer starts wearing flats, she'd stand out like a sore thumb.

Vader: I find your lack of faith disturbing.
Tarkin: Enough of this! Vader, release him!

It's hilarious when people act like no man alive wears high heels when that's not true. Another thing is not every woman can walk in high heels.
