shareNo! This movie sucks compared to the original. The cringey kid, the corny lines, the bad acting, the lame effects of hiring twins, who also suck as actors. No suspense, no horror. It's a fricken kids movie for a stupid MTV generation of drones.

shareI had to also Google it. Turns out the guard who the T1000 impersonates and kills him while wearing the disguise, where played by twins.
It makes sense as it's far cheaper than unneeded effects and kind of speaks about today's CGI as they probably would have just done it digitally. I also can't remember the character being that annoying but it's a very brief scene anyways
There is nothing wrong with hiring twins to do an effect like that. I'm not even sure why you'd think that.

shareIt isn't lazy to hire twins. That's like saying it's lazy to use a fake mirror to do a reflection. It's a trick, just like anything else. Was it lazy to have a real juggler stick his arms out in front of David Bowie in the labyrinth to pretend like the goblin king could juggle?
Again, I'm not sure exactly why you would even think this is lazy.
A more accurate analogy would be hiring triplets with zero acting ability to star in Multiplicity instead of Michael Keaton. Also, let me remind you. We're in a topic that claims this trash is a PERFECT MOVIE, staring EDWARD...FURLONG!!!

a little bit too much hollywood (e.g. "I need a vacation" is not an appropriate line for Uncle Bob), difficulty in suspending belief with the terminator combat abilities (e.g. T1000 should not be having a fist/bludgeoning fight with a T800, I don't care that it's a prototype), retcon of prequel without justification (i.e. T1 has a timeloop; T2 doesn't, and it should have tried, somehow to explain this, or at least, show Sarah's confusion on this)
