The scene after Montana is killed when i dont know which charavtyer says
"Your not the mero Mero" and Miklo responds
"No but im alive" Magic's anger after this line is hilarious

Cruz:"It ain't that good ese"
Miklo: "This is the best thing i've had in 9 years"
again Miklo makes a funny face.

These are just two that I can think of that have not been mentioned, but Popeye does have the best lines.

I could go on & on!!!! Have not seen this movie in a long time. But when i did it got repeated viewings!!!!! I was reading another rewiew on IMDB & that lead me here. Great movie, even if the acting at times lets it down, but very fast moving fot a 3 hour film. And a brilliant score by Bill Conti, the man who did Rocky!!!
Would love to see the so called 5 hour cut!! Longer than all 3 Lord of the Ring films!!!LOL!

When Miklo gets paroled and goes to Popeye's place

Miklo: "You're supposed to have an apartment for me..."

Popeye: "Hey just a f&&in minute, your majesty! This ain't the joint with three hots and a cot! This is the streets, homey."

and when Lightning takes off Miklo's leg and says "Ever hear that saying, put your foot in your mouth" something about the way he says it is so funny.

Popeye: "... gimme some CHON-CHON!"

This movie is full of classic quotes. I love it!

Early in the movie when Spider's gang invades the Vatos Locos' turf. Cruz and Paco were there, but I forgot who said what:

Cruz (maybe Paco): You got a filero!?
Paco (maybe Cruz): All I got is my pito, ese!

Or something along those lines, I can't remember. But that scene always cracks me up :P

Miklo really played this role in an interesting way...and had some memorable lines of his own

'Chou-ie....es mi carnale"

"It's the Milk man ..come to collect all the Milk money"

But Al and Popeye have all the great lines....and it's their deliveries...

2 best scenes are Popeye giving Miklo the heads up....

and Al serving the pork chops
