There's a whistle sound like when someone slips in an old cartoon. I hear it everytime I watch the film but for some reason nobody else ever notices it until I tell them. I wonder if the sound guys threw it in there as a joke.

I've often wondered about that whistle noise myself. It's quite possible it was edited in as a joke by Spielberg but It's also the possible that the noise was caused by his shoe sliding against the rocks as he's slipping over. Another theory I think, It might have been Nedry himself letting out a wisp of air in shock of suddenly finding himself slipping over. Remember the scene where Dodgson is showing him how the cannister works and he pops it open and Nedry lets out that really high pitched squeal from laughing at it so hard. So we know Nedry can make high pitched squeals/noises in certain situations. But again, this is just a theory.
