How old where you when you first watched Jurassic Park?

And how do you feel when watching it again?

I was 7.

For me, I still feel that nostalgic wonder when watching Jurassic Park as an adult. At least now, I get to see it without peeking from between my fingers and I finally understand some of the jokes, conversations and plot complexities.

Just thought I'd ask because I just watched Jurassic World and saw a bunch of kids who were my age when I first watched this, and I wondered how they'd feel if they watched JW again in the next decade or so. I'm just a bit disturbed because this one was far more violent than the first movie. Then again, these kids might be more desynthesized to violence than I was back in the day.

I was 13. I was anxious to see it because it was a Steven Spielberg film. I don't think the film was as violent as Jurassic World was. It was more original back then because Crichton delivered such a fantastic book and Crichton and Koepp were the writers of the movie which is a good sign. The Jurassic Park trilogy is a better series than some of the lazy violence that happens in Jurassic World.

I was 8, which was about 12 years ago now (Jesus H I feel old lol) and it scared the ever loving crap out of me, even more than Jaws or Deep Blue Sea did which I had seen before. Absolute classic film.

I don't know the exact age, I wanna say around 6. I remember, my mom and I had just moved into our first home out on our own and she ordered pizza one weekend night as a special treat, and as an extra special treat, she got out the good ol' VCR tape of Jurassic Park and let me watch it. I remember being scared *beep* of the T-Rex and cried later that night, terrified one was gonna break in.

That was almost 16 years ago and the JP franchise is still one of my favorites. The theme song brings so much nostalgia alone.

I was only five! I have no idea why my mom let me see this; I saw it with a cousin in theaters. I think my mom just wanted to see it and dragged me along lol

49. Just saw it for the first time.

As for watching it again, I won't. Enjoyable enough and a wonder to look at, but the plot... once was plenty.
