7.8/10 that is REALLY high for a family comedy like this, in fact I don't think I've seen one with that high a rating

I thought it was alright up until the last third when it became all about getting back the baseball from 'the beast' and it was the same thing over and over for 20 minutes of them doing stuff to try to get it back but failing, that was REALLY annoying

Y.E.S and this was my decade of nostalgia. I feel absolute ZERO affection toward it.

Not really, I give "The Sandlot" a 9/10, it's a great movie, I enjoyed the chemistry the boys had together, I do feel the portion where they were trying to retrieve the ball from the dog went on a little too long but the rest of the film was great, the first half of the film was IMO the better half of the two.
