Anyone intrested in the fates of some characters?

Like michael rapport or brad pitt ? Or if alabama or christian slater even knew if dennis hopper died or not? Not important but kinda fun to think about.

For me when a movie ends, that's it. It's over.

Even when i have invested in the characters, when it's over it's over. I never think about what happened next.

I also dont have a problem with deliberately open ended or unresolved endings. I know some people think it's fun to speculate on what happens next and that's fine.

But it's never bothered me that's sometimes you don't have a definite ending. Two good examples would be Inception, and The Italian Job. I never ponder what happened next, just that the filmmakers left the ending open and ambiguous.

I have no problem with the ending and i also love an open ending. But some characters make me day dream.. not nessercearly in the from of more movie just fun to ponder

I can see the Rapoport character becoming a big star and going on a late night talk show one night and telling part of this story to get more street cred.

reply

Interesting. I like that.

Someone else suggested that they go back to Detroit to find out what happened to the father. Could be a good revenge sequel.

What happened to the dog?

When Walken tells a goon to ‘go outside and do you know what’ does he mean execute the animal? Harsh if so.

reply

I don't think they killed the dog. I would have to re-watch the scene to be sure though.

Here it is: a https://youtu.be/S3yon2GyoiM

What do you think he means by that line?

reply

At work atm. Will check it out when I finish. How far into scene is it?

reply

11 seconds.

reply

Yeah I'm not sure what he means by do you know what.i don't think it is about killing the dog. I think it just means keep a lookout. I would be interested to know what they are saying in Italian.

Michael Rapport. Possibly arrested later for his connection to the shootout. if not, continued living with stoner Brad Pitt(who was likely left alive by the hitmen since he wasn't the target and cooperated with them), likely giving up on his failed dream of making it in Hollywood as both of his industry connections died in the shootout. Unless he decided to never contact his father again, it's more than likely that Clarence finds out about his father's fate, which he likely anticipated ahead of time as his father was the only one who had the information about where he was going, which he is likely to deduce is how Detroit mobsters from back home were able to track him down.

reply

I think that Brad Pitt certainly survived. I don't think the film would have not shown his death.
