Favorite and least favorite of the main six characters and why?

Favorite - Phoebe because she's so hilarious, and I love her character's look.
Least favorite - Chandler. I think he's okay, but nothing special. His jokes don't makes me laugh as enough.

There's something wrong with Esther.

Favorite - Joey or Rachel
Least - Ross. He's such a whiny, immature, childish moron and the way he treats Rachel in seasons 7-9 are unbearable. Can't believe anyone would stand up for that in real life.

In order
Chandler - At the begging of the show he was hilarious and I love his relationship with Joey he kind of changed as the show went on though.
Joey - He was really funny and just a guy you would love to be around
Rachel/Ross - They tie because the show is pretty much about there relationship and thats what you remember is them not a particular character but more there relationship and I liked it
Monica - I use to hate her but shes actually not bad... She just does some really stupid and annoying things but overall shes a good character
Pheoebe - I use ti love her but as the show goes on she is just kind of mean.... She never makes me laugh either she is just there to be mean and say it with a nice tone

Favourite: Phoebe. I love her madness, the random homeless stories and mad beliefs.

While writing this, I couldn't think of anything negative about Chandler so I guess I like Chandler as well.

Least Favourite: I don't hate someone enough to say they are my least favourite. They all have moments.

Joey: I hated how he became so stupid towards the end, the whole french thing was ridiculous.

Ross: It always comes down to the whole Ross cheating on Rachel. I believe and always will that he can justify it all he wants, even if you're on a break, sleeping with someone else is cheating on them. Ross was the biggest problem in his relationship with Rachel. He definitely got better later on though.

Monica: I didn't like how she became childlike later on. Her getting together with Chandler was the best thing she did.

Rachel: I don't like the way she deals with gifts from people. It isn't that hard to pretend to like them.

Different people have very different understandings of what it means to be on a break. There is no official definition.Luckily, the issue does not come up here. Ross and Rachel were not on a break. They were completely broken up. They both acknowledged that they were broken up.This is been established here over and over and over again. It is not an opinion; it is a matter of fact. Ross and Rachel both said that they were broken up.You cannot cheat on someone unless you're involved with them. That is the definition of cheating. You have to be involved with the person to cheat on them. They weren't.Rachel never accused Ross of cheating on her using the word "cheat." She quotes her mother using the word cheat, but she never uses it herself. She knows that it isn't true. Rachel may feel betrayed. She may feel disrespected. She is clearly hurt, but she knows that Ross did not cheat on her.Don't be misled by Ross's, "We were on a break." That was not the issue at the time. I believe that Ross's catchphrase was a joke the writers played on a gullible audience. It was a very successful joke as there are still a lot of people who believe it.

Since I managed to find something that I wrote earlier, let me post it.

Rachel: I don’t know, I don’t know. Urrrgh! Look, maybe we should take a break.Ross: Okay, okay, fine, you’re right. Let’s ah, let’s take a break, (goes to the door) let’s cool off, okay, let’s get some frozen yogart, or something.. (opens the door)Rachel: No. (Ross is standing in the doorway.) A break from us.
Ross suggests a break as a cooling off period, and Rachel rejects it
Chandler: So, what are you doing here? I thought tonight was your big anniversary dinner.Ross: Yeah, little change in plans. Ahh, we’re gonna break-up instead.
Rachel: Hi, it’s me. I’ve been trying to reach you all night. I feel awful. Please, Ross, you gotta know there is nothing between me and Mark. This whole break-up thing is just stupid. Eh, I’m just so sorry I put you through it. And, I y'know, I don’t want to get back together over a machine. So, I love you.And y'know what, I’m gonna, I’m gonna go to bed now, but ah, on my way to work tomorrow morning, I’m gonna stop by around 8:30.
Rachel knows that Ross thinks she is having sex with Mark, and they are therefore broken up. What else could Ross possibly think with Mark in the apartment right after the argument?
Monica: How’s the big anniversary dinner?Rachel: Well, we never actually got to dinner.Monica: Ohhh, nice.Rachel: No, we kinda broke up instead.Monica: What?! Rachel: God, Monica it’s on the ceiling.Monica: That’s okay, this is more important than fruit - on my ceiling! You broke up?!Rachel: Yeah, but it’s okay, because when Ross left Mark came over.
Rachel: So what do you say? Can I be your girlfriend again?Ross: Yes, you can, very much.
To summarize, before Ross heard Mark in Rachel's apartment, Rachel thinks she is on a break with Ross. After Ross heard Mark's voice in Rachel's apartment, Rachel knows that she and Ross are broken up.
Ross: Listen. Oh hey, hey, the important thing was that she meant, she meant nothing to me!Rachel: And yet she was worth jeopardizing our relationship!!Ross: Look, I didn’t think there was a relationship to jeopardize. I thought we were broken up.Rachel: We were on a break!Ross: That, for all I knew would, could last forever. That to me is a break-up.Rachel: You think you’re gonna get out of this on a technicality?Ross: Look, I’m not trying to get out of anything, okay. I thought our relationship was dead!Rachel: Well, you sure had a hell of a time at the wake!
That is the first and the last time that Rachel says, "We were on a break." Ross never says they were on a break until later. When Ross says that they were broken up, Rachel does not deny it. She describes it as a "technicality."Rachel does not argue that Ross did not think their relationship was dead. She confirms it by referring to the wake.
Ross: Don’t you realize none of this would’ve ever happened if I didn’t think at that same moment you weren’t having sex with Mark?
Rachel does does understand that; she just does not care.

I love them all! They are all hilarious and make for a colorful and quirky group. But my favorite is Ross...no other makes me laugh out loud as much as he does.

I couldn't say that I had a least favorite....I can find great humor in all of them!

In the first half of the series (pre-London), my favorite character is Chandler, and I don't have a least-favorite, they're all great.

In the second half of the series (post-London), my favorite character is Ross, and least-favorite is Monica. I just don't like how she turned out after she got with Chandler. And most of the characters got worse in the later seasons. Joey became so stupid it was a wonder he could function at all. But yeah Monica's change was the worst.

Ross is my favourite! He's so funny! I love anytime he is drunk or drugged.
Phoebe is my least favourite. I find her grating. Many of her jokes fall flat for me.

1. Joey
2. Chandler
3. Rachel
4. Ross
5. Monica
6. Phoebe

Joey is the heart of the show and is the most loyal of them all. Starting in season 6, Phoebe became a b!tch and lied too often.
