Absolutely! The show is a much higher standard than the movie in my opinion. They have done a fantastic job filling out plot lines, which will keep the show going into another season. I found the movie was too short to go into details from the book. It was certainly irritating that nobody could come up with the idea of "look for a different job". Yeah I know they reused the joke many times, but I'm sure they came up with it only for that joke originally. I loved that it was Donald Duck Dunn. That's one of my favourite references! It was a brilliant season starter, and I totally love that Richard is starting his new thing. From the very beginning, he never seemed to be able to stick to the product, so working on his own makes a lot more sense. And it's kept the show moving, it's never stagnant. The only joke I loved with Barry was his first appearance, when Raj asked what his accent was. It's unfortunate that they really only seem to have written the speech impediment in for that one joke... Hello! I found my way here, I'm not on the boards as much as I was on imdb... I absolutely agree. I also dislike the sausage going into Elliot's martini, just a bit on the nose. It's also not a very pretty food fight, if that's the way they want to go. The peas and corn being thrown, the sausage, the chocolate spit, just all pretty gross. I find the music terrible too. It's a show I want to like so much, but it isn't the best. For now, it's a light hearted nothing sort of show for me... I remember it having more Seinfeldisms in it...I think I possibly went rogue and added more. I've taken out the other bits of the speech that didn't have any Seinfeld quotes in there... During that time, we were lucky enough to see the relationship with Cat blossom. Jason and I spent many a night, watching Seinfeld, adding to our quoting repertoire. It was during this time, that I came to realise, there was a shift in the worlds….There was a distinct possibility that Jason would marry this girl…and what would happen to Independent Jason? Because, Cat was infiltrating his world. Everyone that knew Jason, fell in love with Cat too. If George Costanza had taught us anything….The worlds were about to blow up! Luckily, Cat was very accepting of our families constant Seinfeldisms, so Independent Jason was able to live alongside Relationship Jason. Just as Independent Cat is able to live alongside Relationship Cat. From now on Jason, you can start your sentences with 'My Wife'. It's a great way to begin a sentence, 'My wife this, my wife that'.... 'My wife has an inner ear infection'. They are two of the best people I know, and I think everyone will agree, we are so glad that the worlds collided. I'll see if I can find it I took it more to mean that Max wasn't ready to say "I love you" to Caroline, after 6 years... View all replies >
