What EXACTLY do those lions eat??????

Since they don't believe in killing the other animals, that are meant to be their prey, what do they do for food?????

I don't think they eat bugs like Timon and Pumbaa, b/c when Simba first met them, he seemed highly grossed out by them.

The Antelope, there is a scene where Simba asks his father about eating antelope and he replies. We eat the antelope and when we die our bodies decompose and become grass which the antelope eat so we are all connected. The Circle of Life.

They couldn't eat Antelopes since they never eat animals in the jungle as seen in the "Circle of Life" intro.

THEY EAT EACH OTHER...SO WHOEVER SAID FISH WAS ALSO CORRECT.

Well, we know they eat the herbivores just like real lions do since Simba mentions eating the antelope to Mufasa and later asks Timon and Pumbaa if they had any of his favorite meat choices. I've always believed though, that Mufasa either developed a fair system or carried it on from his father or past kings of the Pride Lands. Like, if any of the herds had any members who were sick or dying, the lions or other carnivores that got permission to hunt would put them out of their misery since they would die anyway. If nobody was sick or dying, they'd hunt outside the Pride Lands.

And...I find it really hard to believe that Simba lived on a diet that was solely made up of bugs before he returned to Pride Rock to take his place as king. In fact, I don't really buy it at all. I wouldn't put it past him if once in a while, he snuck away from Timon and Pumbaa and helped himself to a real meal.
