She was quite the cutie pie in the 80s/early 90s. Too bad she swayed away from herself and her career when it could have been better. At least she's made a comeback and didn't end up dead like so many other 80s teen icons.

Agreed.

She looked great in everything around this time period. I watched Dracula not that long ago, and it was nice seeing her in a period piece like that. Though you can also point to Little Women.

Her shoplifting arrest really derailed her career. That was in 2001 and if you look at her filmography you can see that is also when her career begins what turns into a pretty rough patch. As you say, it's nice that she now seems to have made a comeback, thanks largely to Stranger Things.

Yes, and that made it very difficult to believe that she would have that much trouble finding a job.
