Is it true alot of Xena fans don't like Kevin Sorbo?
When I was at the convention in February people didn't seem too like him too much.
shareBoth Kevin Sorbo and Lucy Lawless seem like unpleasant and arrogant people to me. I guess the antagonism between them and their fanbases is kind of comparable to Republicans vs. Democrats. But I don't think Kevin Sorbo is simply jealous. He seems mostly irritated that his own show got neglected in favour of Xena. Openly suggesting that this happened because Lucy Lawless was sleeping with the producer may not be the most decent thing to do, but that doesn't mean it's not true. I personally believe it's one of the reasons.

Hard to argue with that. They still both managed to have respectable careers long after their series' ended so perhaps it worked out well in the end.

Xena was better than Hercules in every way. And of course the show being more successful it's eventually going to garner more attention from tptb. Is it fair, no. Does it mean you have to take it out on the actor? No.
The Flash stole Arrow's shine but even Stephen Amell (who can be irritating) isn't bitter about Grant Gustin.
Did you even read my post? I said it's not as simple as Xena just being more popular.
And I definitely don't agree Xena was better in every way. They were both entertaining shows in their early years, but the writing and acting in neither was ever something to brag about.
