Did Nicky and Dominick die from the beating or being buried alive?

Or both? Discuss. I don't think anybody would have survived that vicious beat down. Nicky/Tony was a badass, but no.

Dominic was most likely already dead before being buried. Nicky was moments away from dying when they buried him. While he may not have died until he was in the ground, it was the beating that killed him.

That beatdown was so brutal. It reminded me from back in 1985 in the Omni in Atlanta. The 4 Horseman locked the steel cage and severely beat down Dusty Rhodes breaking his ankle
