I can't be the only one who thinks that the entire "Sam Rothstein Show" sequence had a very Trump-like vibe to it

There's something about Sam and his television show that really reminded me of Trump. I feel like how Sam was introducing and drumming up the entertainers/entertainment on the show really felt like (pre-political) Trump when he would drum and hype up his hotel buildings are various other forms of entertainment that he would have a hand in. Also, the way he mentioned Pat Webb and how he was talking smack to him while on live tv - not unlike how Trump would put his political rivals on blast during his presidency

Did anybody else see the similarities? lol

I saw NO similarities between Sam, at least in terms of how he's portrayed in this film, and Trump.

Sam was a super-smart (i.e. a Maths genius), extremely meticulous, highly observant Jewish man.

Trump is a moronic (albeit occasionally shrewd when it comes to manipulating people), careless, intellectually-lazy anti-Semite/racist.

I suppose both men share a certain bluster and flare for self-promotion, but that's really about it.
