Very cool fight scene with Snipes.

I don't know why, but the part where Wesley Snipes strolls into the organized criminal's lair and schools his thugs in pugilism is really engaging.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing .

I agree with you Captain! tat was a very well choreographed scene. My guess is Snipes knows some martial arts like Steven Seagal. I wish I could go into a strip club like that, beat the hell out of everyone and then run off in victory mode... with a girl.

Wesley Snipes was John Wick before John Wick in that scene.

It was really good. I'm guessing he had a lot of involvement in the choreography or at least his people dictated it. Big money Hollywood didn't really have the main actor doing their own fight scenes of that intensity until The Matrix. Especially from actors that don't come from that martial arts, sports background already.

In fact I don't think Hollywood did fight scenes like that at all in action films pre-1995 it looked that good.

You can say cheap action flicks like American Ninja, Best of the Best, Cynthia Rothrock, Chuck Norris stuff, early Van Damme films did.

B-Movie films from martial arts first "actors".

But a mainstream action film like this where the lead is doing his own fighting and it looks like kickboxing-MMA?
