This is a very well done movie but the theme is just wrong!

Ok so if you have a relative of your that is a mess, steals, lies and is envious what do you do? You always cover him or try to make him see reason for once? Wesley should have turned him in at the money train once they saw the cops were coming. And what did they learn at the end? nothing, Woody was left with the money just being the same as he always was.

But overall I think this move is very well done, very nice shots, great actions scenes, great vilians and the soundtrack is just catchy :) Typical 90s Hollywood movie, well filmed.

The sex scene wasn't free or unnecessary like in many action films, the romance is welt built and the sex tension was about to break. And Jennifer's character is the kind of girls that steps forward and takes action even if it's to get the man she wants. That's another theme of the movie and the sex scene is the culmination of it.

I liked it. It's got a 5.4 score on IMDB, so before watching it again after years I was wondering if my mind was a little hazy on its quality as I remember Woody and Snipes had a good run together.

They have some great chemistry and I assumed they did do more films together being the next-gen Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder.

The only real minus I take away is they could've worked into the story that Woody was reckless with money, but not a complete selfish ass. Give him a little more humility, helping people out, but he's a gambler with a problem. Other than that it was pretty good and deserves a way higher score.

The SJW crowd would be creaming over this if it was released today.

The white guy and all of his privilege is the F-up. Even with the exact same upbringing the black guy is the together one, cool, has his sh** together, kicks ass and gets the girl in the end.

Add to that some casual racism with Snipes friends bustin' his balls over him hanging out with a white guy.
