shareWell, this version had a solid actor as The Phantom and generally did some justice to the character... Unfortunately, the villain was a bland gangster, the maguffin was a real supernatural item (Not appropriate for The Phantom) and the finale took place on a variation of the Goonies pirate ship.
But, it had the best music of any pulp revival hero since Indiana Jones... And that means I rate it above Jerry Goldsmith's awesome score for The Shadow.
