I actually consider this to be Michael Bay's best film and its definitely my favourite of his.

And a pretty good 7/10 movie it is overall too I have to say. Connery especially adds value to it, as do some solid action sequences and at times genuinely impressive camera and stunt work. Still not perfect nor a total masterpiece but solid, ROCK solid, kick ass action movie anyways.

It's certainly better than a 7/10. It's one of the greatest action films ever made. I would give it a 9/10 and I very rarely give any film a score that high.

I will agree though that it's Michael Bay's best film. #2 is Pain & Gain, #3 is 13 Hours. Those three are all great films. I'd put the underrated Ambulance in the #4 spot and everything else I don't care enough about to bother ranking.

It'd always been my favorite Michael Bay film. I'd love it if it got a 4k remaster.

It has a good main title sequence, but after that my interest for the movie drops.
