Which is kinda the reason I was never a regular viewer of the program until I just happened to catch him one day.

Although the final question today - I don't know what the hell that was. Is it really a well-known piece of Americana??

The Courtship of Miles Standish?? YES! It's a classic and it used to be a well known poem for school children. That is, back when schools actually TAUGHT literature instead of the politically correct crap like "Heather Has Two Mommies" that they teach today.

But yes, the show seems to move so slo-o-o-o-ly after the lightning fast James.

Yes. Didn't have 1/10th of James's trivia knowledge, and were cowardly about the bets.

It's like he ruined Jeopardy for "regular" contestants, lol.

Good, at least I am not the only one.

And btw, when Alex announced the correct answer, it didn't seem like it even rang a bell for them, and they are teachers.
