My friend and I were chatting about Requiem for a Dream, and she told me to watch this (this was like 2 or 3 years ago, I don't even remember or remember when this came out). So I went out to Wal-Mart or Target the next day and I found it in those cheap bins (VHS unfortunately) but it was like 2 bucks along with like Final Fantasy the Spirits Within and Loser and one more I can't think of... anyhow I picked it up and watched it and loved it

End of boring story, sorry... but you asked.

I read a news article about meth labs and how common explosions are and it had mentioned this movie. I came here to check it out and the rest is history.

It's an amazing movie. =)

I was walking around downtown Embarcadero Center in San Francisco and saw a 6ft tall poster in a window of a shop that had been closed down. From that point I still didn't end up seeing the movie for another year or so.
It was worth the wait.

I was looking for films with Deborah Harry in them.

I was not let down.

She knocked the hell outta that guy in the same form as Mickey.

Great movie.

Word of mouth. Someone even posted a thread for it in my forum long before it came out.

We tried to go see it at the only theater in town that was showing it but didn't make it.

Snatched the DVD first week it was out.

One the screenwriters is a friend of a friend. We were hanging out at his (the screenwriter's) house. He had a HUGE poster with Mena Suvari on the wall and was telling us some stories about how he came up with ideas for the film. Before that, though, I guess I noticed a poster at my friend's house that was given to him by the screenwriter. Again, with Mena Suvari. I'm a big movie fan, so I picked up a copy for $5, I think.

What we got here is an unsatisfying situation.
