Why would Doc throw a car through window?

He told Doc not to harm Peter and bring him back alive yet Doc throws a car at him and MJ when they are in the cafe'? If he killed Peter then what? It seems he would have gone about getting Peter more efficiently.

Because Sam Raimi wanted an action scene. That is the only real reason.

Yeah, that's what I thought. For one thing, how far away is he when he throws the car? The people outside aren't even reacting like they see Doc Octopus yet. It didn't really make any sense.

He did it because he could not to mention it added for extra dramatic effect that lead to a damn good fight shortly after.. The nitpickiness of a movie over 20 years old, but this is social media for you now in 2023
