Am I the only one who likes Tina?

I've heard so many hateful comments about this character, does anyone else actually like her?

reply

I liked her except for when she went with a man and did not want to be called at least bi.

At the beginning of the series I thought the actress was a pale shadow when compared to Jennifer Beals. But, my opinion of her acting ability grew as season 1 progressed. But, her scene with Alice at the end of the finale I became a fan of the actress.

Season 5 is Tina's season...hands down....it's impossible to hate her in the season. Some fans criticized her when she went back to men...come on. It was the next logical step for her.

I don't agree it was the next "logical" step for her. Like, how do you figure that? outside of a hetero-normative world view where girl meets boy and baby makes three? Why wouldn't dating someone whose completely the opposite of Bette be the "logical" next step? Why not dating someone whose *much* younger, and therefore, someone *Tina* could easily manipulate (my next step, like Tina, after breaking up with my ex with whom i'd had a child then rebounding immediately to someone else similar to her)? Why not dating one of the many Lesbian single moms in the world be the next "logical step?" Why wouldn't the next "logical step" be for her to just stop rebounding around and stay single for a while until she got over Bette and Helena (in my mind - *that* would be next *logical* step))?

I really liked Laurel Holloman in the show. I liked the character Tina as well.

I'm on season 3 and Tina is just ok with me, she's not one of my favorites but she's not completely terrible. I don't ship her with Bette tho because i feel like Candace can truly understand her in the way that Tina NEVER can.

"Tina" looked great in the last season.
