Kind of an A-hole
Detective Spooner was not a very likeable character imo.
shareAfter the ns-6 robot was discovered trying to escape, Spooner didn't gain much credibility for holding them in contempt. Instead, everyone was quick to justify their way of existence and it was only one malfunction. Besides that, a lot of criticism of him could be reasonably bought into. That scene with the line 'I told you so doesn't quite say it." I thought sold over nicely enough.
