Ghost in the Shell Ruined Me... HELP!

Okay, so here is my problem. After I finished Ghost in the Shell there was nothing else for me to watch. It was, in my opinion, the most intelligent sci-fi (anime or otherwise) that I've ever seen. Since there is no more for me to watch I'm left with a gap. I want to watch more great science fiction anime but it seems like what I find is too close to fantasy. Cowboy Bebop seems closer but I need to watch more.

I don't know guys. I guess I just want more GitSness in my life. Any suggestions? I seriously might need to do (shudder) fanfiction. Please help.

Well, it's been quite a while, but in the meantime I do believe the gods of philosophically deep sci-fi anime have answered your cry in the form of Psycho-Pass, which I for one found to be even better (10/10) than GitS (9/10), at least in its first season, with the second only a bit less interesting but still a very good watch.

Stand first in queue to view the live-action film adaptation. I don't pre-judge, merely observe that nothing quite exceeds like excess.
