I remember all the girls in college really loved Adam Brody. As a first time viewer who is 30 now, I find Adam Brody attractive but the Seth Cohen character to not be. He's kind of someone you grow out of fast. He's annoying and selfish. I don't even understand how both Anna and Summer liked him in the first season...except for the competition between them.

Well, I meant in the context of the show. At the start he was pictured as this really nerdy guy who couldn't get a girlfriend. I found that totally unbelievable.

shareI think you are mixing up the actual actor, with the character. He portrays a nerd and so you have to think of him as a nerd. Then, when looking at his character in that way, you would have to ask yourself if you found him attractive.
If one were to look at Seth Cohen, as he is, it would be unbelievable that no gal would find him attractive, even as a nerd. In real life, nerds do not look as good as his character.
