Films similar to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... suggestions?

I thoroughly enjoyed this film and was looking for other films which also featured great characters, had an interesting/unique plot with twists that would surprise me, and finishes with a satisfying ending.

One other film that, off the top of my head, I think comes close is "Lucky Number Slevin". Both have that combination of really good actors who are given great dialogue combined with a VERY compelling story that has twists and turns you don't see coming. While both KKBB and Slevin have some violence, it isn't overly graphic, glorified or comes at the expense of the plot.

Any suggestions?

And please, no mentions of any Tarantino films.

Many thanks!

Michael Bay's Pain & Gain.

The humor and narrative reminded me a lot of Big Trouble with Tim Allen.

Someone else mentioned Brick which is great. Another one that's a lot more surreal and less comedic, but similar in vibe is John Dies In The End.

Always happy to give Coldblooded (1995) a plug. Charming violent dark comedy with rewatchability that I never see mentioned. Couple other dark comedies that check all or most of OP's boxes. Forgive any dupes:

Bottle Rocket (1996)
Freeway (1996)
The Hidden (1987)
Retfærdighedens ryttere [Riders of Justice] (2020)

[edit] One more hail Mary: the TV show Bored to Death (2009). Has improved with each rewatch.

Maybe even Reindeer Games (2000).
