On a scale of 1-10, what would you rate this movie?
I loved this movie a lot, so I definitely give it a 10.
Michael Cera was at his best on this one.
"No mother, I can blow myself!" - Buster Bluth, Arrested Development.

Wasn't what I was expecting, but definitely wasn't bad. I'd say a solid 8/10.
shareIt wasn't mindless or cliche considering it was coming from a book written in the early 90's before 'flicks' like this were sweeping hollywood. The book is brilliant and hysterical, I haven't seen the movie yet so I don't know how it translated but the book is definitely a solid 8 or 9 out of 10. Hopefully the movie delivered just as well, though I pictured Nick more of Jesse Eisenburg... he would have been perfect.
Update:
The movie was solid, but not nearly in the same league as the book. Oh, well. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't fantastic. solid. 5/10

HILARIOUS!
8/10
If I watched this as a teenager 7/10
As an adult 4/10
The movie tries too hard to make adults look ignorant of the needs of teenagers. Every adult in this movie acted . . . like a teenager - childish, selfish, immature, know-it-all. Although the teens acted a bit foolish they are the ones that figure it all out as the adults stay the same.
I guess it was made for teens.
The one thing I did learn was eating "Shrooms" is cool and going to church is not. Get the sarcasm.
