Worst movie EVER. Hands down.

And not because of Jessica; I thought she did fairly well. But the movie was stupid, pointless, boring and NOT FUNNY. Who's with me?

reply

I'm with you. The movie sucked. Painful to watch. I was cringing the entire time. Jessica Simpson, Dane Cook, Dax Shepard, and Andy Dick are all mediocre(that's being nice) actors at best. All of their careers will be over in time, mark my words on that one.

reply

Absolutely no humor whatsoever, a cast of mediocre actors, and one really terrible one (Jessica Simpson) make this a contender for one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

nah dude dane cook'll be around for a while; he's a big deal in the stand up world, though possibly not the movie world.

...In real life, people get fired at these types of jobs for screwing around.

Oh god no, not even any near close. Check out the IMDb Bottom 100, see what really counts as the worst, and some of the worst, movies ever. I watched Employee of the Month yesterday, and it really wasn't that bad. Dane Cook is always awesome.

Dane Cook sucked in this. The fact that it was a comedy, and a popular comedian was the main character, and it was STILL not funny, proves that it was crap.

So..this is a '1' and 300 is an '8'? Not gonna judge your taste in movies, but it really sucks. It's...it's almost pitifull. Really. Just, pathetic. And this, by far, is not the worst movie. It's not even on the bottom 100.

reply

Dane Cook should be employed as just that.... a COOK!...he is a no-talent comedian...what an embarrasment he is to the comedy world!

reply

Worst movie EVER award goes to 'Pledge This'.

This movie is worthy of an Oscar compared to that!!!

reply

Eddie Murphy at his worst is funnier than this crap.

EIther your brains or your signature will be on the contract.

reply

It's an excellent movie, one of my favorites. You guys are entitled to your opinions, but my opinion is your taste in movies is lacking.

reply

I actually enjoyed the movie albeit the humor was dumb. It was basically a light-hearted film about two guys fighting for the affection of one girl. I thought that the actors did well especially Dane who I am a big fan of.

Well, no, it wasn't really. It was more about the absurdity of working in the average wal-mart style job. Jessica Simpson was kind of a McGuffin.

I used to want to change the world. Now I just want to leave the room with a little dignity.

This post belongs on the Runaway Vacation forum my friend.. This movie is one of the best i've seen in a while i don't believe it deserved such mediocre ratings..

reply

The fact that this movie currently has a 5.1 rating, not something below 3.0, utterly destroys what little faith I had left in humanity.

Mankind is doomed.

Seemed like there was a lot of Deus Ex Machina BS in this movie. It would have been fine if the movie ended with him dying in the car being a hero...but that extra bit afterwards was crap.

reply

This movie was funny. You all have major lack of judgements. This movie is a refreshing relief compared to all thhose HORRIBLE spoof movies that were coming out: scary movie 4, Date movie, epic movie. I thought this movie was hilarious. Go kick a puppy or something you lifeless idiots who didn't like it.

The words of a god.....
"I know what your thinking. 'did he fire six shot's or only five?' well in all this excitement, I lost track myself. But seeing as this is a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and can blow your head clean off, you better ask yourself one question. 'Do I feel lucky?' Well do ya, punk?"

"Go ahed, make my day."

"Your *beep* out of luck..."

reply

Nope, it sucked. Out of all the Comedy Central owned films, this is easily one of the worst, and Comedy Central doesn't own many good films (My Cousin Vinny is the best ofc).

The only part I liked in it was the fort that the box boys had in between the lumber aisles. That was really cool.

Besides that, I was amazed at how unintellegent the humor was in this. I actually laughed in the beginning when the assistant manager farted at the end of the employee of the month presentation. It worked the first time because of shock value; but when people kept farting throughout the movie...I was a little insulted. People expect me as an intellegent being to laugh at *this*?

Jessica Simpson was a blank stare. She had no humor, no personality. I didn't feel attached to her at all. The fat security guard was kind of funny, and Andy Dick had his moments, but everything else was just awful, overused humor.

I'd give it a 1/10.

To the person who criticized the guy who gave this a 1 and 300 an 8, you have no grounds to criticize anybody on their movie tastes. 300 was at least somewhat unique and entertaining. The movie was a *beep* Anybody who thinks differently was either making out during the entire film, or needs to see some better movies.

I feel very strongly about this. This movie's current 5.3 rating is a disgrace to the human race.

reply

Believe me, this isn't on my list of favorite films, but I liked Dax Shepards performance and he made me laugh a lot (with help from the guy who played Pedro in Napolean Dynamite)

Dance Cook hasn't been an incredible actor so far but he was exceptable in my opinion. 5.3 actual seems just right for the rating.

The Colt M1911A1 .45 ACP is the greatest handgun ever made.

Its def worth watching just once. Dax had a hilarious line. When the golf ball hits Pedro in the head he goes "This is an 81' Honda! How dare you!" Awesome delivery.

And i completely agree with your amazing signature.

Im the boss.

reply

It was good for about 5 laughs. I don't really get why Jessica was even in the movie. She only had like 12 lines. I give it a 4/10.

reply

i though this film was much better than some of the other crap thats on offer and i think jessica simpson was in it just for eye candy.....which i very much approve of.

I didn't even go to the theater for this. I watched it on the PC, and brother, I HAD TO STOP THIS PUTRID VOMIT in the middle. There was no laughing of any sort from my group of 5. One tried his best at one point to let out a snicker, but sadly for him, it just wouldn't come out, like you know, one of those bad aborted sneezes. We felt real sorry for him. And I was the one who recommended it to my group, so after stopping the show I had to apologize (profusely) to them for my utter lamosity and disregard for the feelings of my fellow men.
