shareFor some reason, I never really got into Matt Smith after the glorious David Tennant. I suppose I just didn't like the shape of his head or his childish mannerisms. Oh, and Moffat's later writing, of course.
I suppose I liked Capaldi more than Smith, but again, he was saddled with poor writing and the SJW crap that came later.
I'm saying that with RTD as showrunner, Doctor Who was at its most accessible and best, with small doses of Moffat's genius speckled in. With Moffat as showrunner, however, his stories became convoluted and repetitive rather quickly.
