who else cringed when all the teenagers turned into shazams?

i cringed so badly when that happend my god it was so corny

I didn't. It was little more than an expansion of the Marvel Family: traditionally Captain Marvel (Shazam), Captain Marvel Jr. (Freddy), Mary Marvel (traditionally Billy's sister Mary) and Uncle Marvel (traditionally a powerless fraud that the family never-the-less loves.)

I you are a comic book reader and you are familiar with Shazam! there are no reason to cringe. The Shazam! Family is part of the story so there inclusion makes sense.
