Even if the upcoming Justice League doesn't hold a candle to this (the trailers haven't done much for me), I know Wonder Woman will make it worthwhile. Yup, her movie was a little more than solid.

shareThe acting, directing, writing, cinematography, most of the action, etc. You get the idea. I'll even say some of these aspects of the film are better than solid.
Is it the masterpiece some claim it to be? Uh, not exactly for me (truthfully I don't think it's that much better than some of the lesser appreciated movies from the MCU), but I nevertheless find its praise warranted. I didn't think it was good just for a DCEU movie, but good as a standalone movie overall.

I found it way too similar to Captain America [a movie I couldn't care less about]; only sprinkled with 3rd wave feminist mentality and injected with forced humor to go the MCU way. The showdown was also quite meh.
To be honest I can't remember one Superhero movie I could see more than once and feel entertained by it other than the recent Civil War [and even that one I'll have to think about when it pops on tv].
I think it is overrated. I saw it and I wasn't impressed. It's a children's movie. Children might enjoy it. I was really expecting to see something better because of the hype and positive reviews Wonder Woman's got. Unfortunately I had to sigh in disappointment.
