Hello guys i enjoy watching films set in Africa and i have a few: Tears of the sun, The last king of Scotland, Blood Diamond and Black hawk down. Can u guys tell me any other action movies set in Africa? Cheers.

"Catch a Fire" - the last scene made me cry.

Has no one mentioned Nowhere in Africa? I really enjoyed that movie. It takes place during the war, with a German Jewish family escaping to live as farmers Africa. It spans over the course of the war, so you watch the young girl growing up in Africa while the mother and father learn to live there as well.

There's also A Far Off Place and Gorillas in the Mist.

Can't believe no one mentioned Zulu a film about the Battle of Rhorke's Drift where 100 British soldiers bravely held off over 4,000 zulus.

I Dreamed Of Africa with Kim Basinger from 2000, Quite unknown but still O.K film to watch.

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. Well, it's something:)

The Lion King. Quite obviously.

Tsotsi: Oscar winner from South Africa from 2005.

"Pray the Devil Back to Hell," a true story about how Liberia's women helped bring an end to the 14-year civil war. It's a documentary that you'll never forget, trust me.
